Our festivals are a celebration of the "farm-to-fork" and "fleece-to-fabric" economies that define our region.

Llandovery Sheep Festival

2025 Date: 20th – 21st September.

This is our town’s signature event. It celebrates Llandovery’s history as a "Drovers' Town," where livestock began the long walk to London.

Highlights: The Drovers' Parade (reenacting the old cattle drives), the chaotic "Wheelbarrow Race" through the town pubs, and Sheep Racing (often with teddy bear jockeys!). The market square fills with wool crafts and cider stalls.

Llandeilo Festival of Senses

2025 Date: Mid-November.

A premier winter festival where Llandeilo’s streets are pedestrianised. Focuses on high-end artisan products—luxury chocolates, spiced gins, and handmade jewellery. It marks the beautiful beginning of the Christmas season in the valley.
