Head underground into the only known Roman gold mine in Britain. Equipped with hard hats and lamps, you will explore caverns hewn by hand 2,000 years ago.

Dan-yr-Ogof (National Showcaves Centre)

Distance: 40 Minutes.
A massive attraction featuring three separate cave systems, including the Cathedral Cave with its underground waterfalls. It also features a dinosaur park.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales

Distance: 40 Minutes.
Home to the Great Glasshouse, the largest single-span glasshouse in the world. Even in the depths of winter, you can walk among blooming South African flowers without a drop of rain falling on you.
