The Royal Welsh Show (Builth Wells)

Dates: Monday 20th – Thursday 23rd July 2026
The zenith of the calendar. The showground transforms into a temporary city hosting over 200,000 visitors. See 7,000 prize-winning animals in the Grand Parade and high-octane acts in the Main Ring. Tip: Take the train from Llandovery to Builth Road to skip the traffic queues.

The Brecon County Show

Date: Saturday 1st August 2026
Established in 1755, this is the oldest agricultural society show in the UK. 2026 Highlights include the Paul Hannam Quad Stunt Show. It combines serious livestock competition with a fantastic family day out.

The Llandeilo Show

Date: Saturday 15th August 2026
Set on the meadows under Dinefwr Castle, this show is famous for its vibrant produce tent and community feel. Don't miss the Vintage Tractor Run which parades into the main ring in the afternoon.
