Jacob Sheep Trekking (Aberhyddnant Farm)

Located in Crai (25 mins east), this organic farm offers a rare experience. You will be paired with a Jacob sheep—instantly recognisable by their piebald coats and magnificent horns—and lead them on a halter across the farm.

Lambing Season: Visit in late March or April for Lambing Experience Days, where you can get inside the lambing shed and even bottle-feed orphaned lambs.

Alpaca My Boots (Brecon)

Located 30-35 minutes away on the Mynydd Illtyd Common. These treks take place on open moorland with 360-degree views of Pen y Fan. After the 90-minute trek, you return to the farmyard to hand-feed your companion scoops of coarse mix.
