Events and Festivals: The Seasonal Pulse

Llandovery and Llandeilo host a vibrant calendar of events that bring the streets to life. If you can time your stay at Brecon Oak with one of these festivals, you are in for a treat.

• Llandovery Motorbike Weekend (July): The town fills with motorcycles for a weekend of exhibitions and rides. It is a noisy, friendly celebration of the town's biker-friendly status.
• Llandovery Sheep Festival (September): A celebration of our drover heritage. The town centre is closed for sheep racing, shearing demonstrations, and food stalls. It is colourful, chaotic, and deeply Welsh.
• Llandeilo Festival of Senses (November): A pre-Christmas market that takes over Llandeilo. It features street food, Santa runs, fireworks and late-night shopping. It is one of the premier winter events in West Wales.
• Dragon Ride (June): For cyclists, this is the big one. Thousands descend on the region to tackle the brutal mountain passes.
